Welcome to the Cultural Borders of Europe network
The network aims to research the cultural borders of Europe in relation to historical and present European ideas, identities and institutions. Questions can be raised on culture, language and religion as creators and containers of cultural borders. We need to know how cultural, linguistic and religious diversity can attain broader legitimacy, and how cultural diversity can be compatible with tolerance.
